Happy Totos Modern daycare (HTMD) is an upcoming Modern daycare
centre located in Rongo town within Migori County. Our main goal is to provide childcare
solutions to residents of Rongo town and its environs. We envisage providing
children with opportunity to grow, learn and thrive. We intend to create lasting
childhood memories to children from 6months to 3 years of age and to give their
parents a peace of mind as they go about their businesses, knowing that their children
are in the safest hands and place.

Caregivers will mostly take care of children below 3 years but not younger than 6 months.
some of the key responsibilities include but not limited to:
Ensuring safety and well-being of children under care.
Providing basic care and meeting child needs.
Developing and Implementing age-appropriate learning/interactive
and recreational activities.
Fostering social and emotional growth of children.
Initiating and maintaining effective professional
relationships with parents/guardians/co-workers.
Desirable attributes
Personal: Genuine love for children, patience,
compassion and empathy, creative, flexibility and adaptability.
Professional: good communication skills, teamwork,
safety awareness, good physical stamina, classroom management, good
organizational skills & professionalism etc.
Qualifications
Certificate in Early Childhood development and Education,
Social work or other related fields, KCSE certificate with mothering
background/experience.
Minimum one year experience in interacting with children in
a home or centre setting.
Basic computer literacy skill is added advantage
